About

Hi, my name is Wei Wang. In Chinese, Wei carries the meaning of strength and presence. In my illustrations, I translate that into a gentler strength — the warmth of childhood, the wonder of nature, and the companionship of animals.

With a background in art and design and an MA in Visual Communication, I spent 15 years as a visual and fashion designer before returning to my first love, children’s illustration. Today, I create playful and heartfelt stories that invite young readers to smile, wonder, and find comfort in the small joys of the world around them.
